WHAT MAKES OUR RIBS SPECIAL?

Bintang is an authentic pan-asian restaurant on Kentish town road- has many roots in Filipino culture, and it shows in this dish, with the use of Banana Ketchup, a condiment which is very popular in the Philippines. It is made out of banana; various spices; and vinegar, offering a unique taste which will definitely excite your palate. We add sweet adobo - which is a staple in filipino culture- to our homemade BBQ sauce to give it a slightly sweet flavour. This article explains what adobo is and the history behind it. We let our ribs cook until they are tender enough to fall straight off the bone. They then are glazed in banana ketchup and our homemade BBQ sauce.  The ribs look, smell  (and are) absolutely irresistible! Don’t miss out on this experience of the senses, you wont get it anywhere else!
